Often a scart connector which carries audio and video signals may have the problem of intermodulation and electromagnetic interference between the two different types of signal often as a result of inferior screening. For pure distortion-free signal transmission - and therefore a clearer, sharper picture - The 'Armageddon' video-only conductors offers really superior signal transfer, free of reflections, smearing and RF/EMI spuriae.

With The Armageddon audio + video scart, the two pairs of audio conductors, in a pseudo-balanced configuration, are carefully shielded from the six video conductors. They are placed right at the centre of the cable with each of their (four) Monocrystal™ conductors individually insulated using low-ion foamed polyethylene (PEF) as the dielectric.

These are then surrounded by a layer of aluminium foil and a tight braided shield of OFC. An OFC drain wire completes the audio section of the cable ensuring 100% coverage from RFI. This delicate audio 'structure' is then encased in a layer of PVC-for maximum protection.

Meanwhile, the six true-75ohm-impedance video conductors are placed equidistant around the audio conductors and insulated using polyethylene. These video conductors are shielded by a close knit braid of OFC-then encased in PVC for maximum protection. Even the OFC 'fast blanking' and 16:9 trigger lines are screened! A second drain wire completes the video portion of the cable. Finally, in a fit of overkill, we wound the whole structure in another aluminium foil layer before sheathing in eye-catching silver grey pliant PVC.

As you can see this cable majors in conductor protection! In tandem with very fast transmission rates this results in a signal stream limited only by your display equipment, whether direct-view, plasma or projector.
