CS4.45 - Dedicated Biwire loudSpeaker cable

You're presented with a beautifully layered sound in which instruments and vocals are given their own individual space. This allows for great depth and three-dimensionallity along with excellent detail and clarity. Theres also a great sense of punch and slam in low frequencies...overall a superb result.

WHAT HI-FI SOUND & VISION MAGAZINE,UK

With Ecosse Cables, there was more sizzle and pace to mid and high frequencies. Low frequency definition was well defined and articulate, and possibly the best thing I can say about this aspect of the cables' performance was that it was tonally neutral.

Overall the combination of the two cables created a superb cable that worked extremely well on my system

Biwiring should be used wherever possible because in a biwired configuration, the wires feeding the higher frequencies are not affected by electromagnetic interference from the low frequency signals that are carried by separate conductors.

Here we introduce a large perfectly round solidcore conductor-our so-called CS2.15 'speaker cable'. The CS2.15 is designed to complement those amplifier/loudspeaker combinations where upper-mid glare and treble edginess (and/or over-emphasised bass) is perhaps compromising mid-range/treble clarity and masking timbral detail.

In a solidcore conductor, the occupation area for the mid and high frequency signals is greater than similar cross-section stranded conductors, therefore resistance is reduced and delivery of high frequency information is improved and even extended! Furthermore the cable offers low DC resistance ensuring that low frequency information is still preserved and is presented with weight, speed and pitch accuracy. The perfect solution to bass-heavy systems.

In this CS4.45 biwire set-up, this CS2.15 cable drives the tweeters and is the perfect match with our multi award-winning 'multistrand' CS2.3, driving the bass/mids. This represents our low cost, high performance CS biwire cable set.

May be configured 2-to-4 or 4-to-4 and terminated in z/x copper bananas or spades, or our new Ecosse logo z/x bananas. Suitable for both biwiring and bi-amping
