Where multi-room, and home cinema custom installation is concerned Ecosse Reference loudSpeaker and interconnect cables offer visibly superior quality vision and sound over extended runs. MINI FLAT

The Mini 'Flat' cables are Ecosse's entry-level/custom install speaker cable. Equally at home in a stereo system, multi-channel AV system or as a custom install cable, they provide a quality, low cost solution particularly in multi-channel, multi-room installations.

In what is a radical departure for Ecosse, they were introduced to specifically address the burgeoning A/V and Custom Install markets (and the preservation of domestic harmony). Yes, you can slide them between carpet and skirting, run it under carpets, round the tightest corners, and plaster it into walls. They are extremely flexible too so it will bend into shape and stay there…

There are, however, elements of their construction that still follow Ecosse's design paradigm. Unbelievably, for example, the 4 x4 still adheres to the Ecosse Philosophy of hybrid biwire - solid core to extend H.F. but multistranded to extend L.F.

Furthermore both cables retain our assurance of a separate dielectric (insulator) and jacket. Polyethylene is used for the dielectric having both low energy loss and low dielectric constant meaning that it has no aural characteristic of its own. The jacket is soft PVC, favoured for its excellent vibration damping performance, helping to preserve the integrity of the signal.

'Speaker' Cable

Our Nirvana Flame range of speaker cables - the FS2.16 and FS4.16 - our 2 or 4 core(once again) round conductor areOFC wrapped in a highly flexible outer sheath. They are double screened for rejection of R.F.I. noise and meet in-wall flame-retarding specification. Don't be caught out by non-flame retarding cables. Monocrystal™ and RG59-Digital/Video/Audio/Aerial

By their nature these signals are 'unbalanced' and are specified at 75 Ohms. For long run, digital and video installation, we recommend the use of our superior hybrid Monocrystal™/OFC dedicated low-loss digital cable-based on our multi award winning Producer Interconnect.

For a quality, low-cost option we offer our dedicated rope-lay weave RG 59-75ohm double-screened coaxial digital/video cable. This cable also acts as an audio interconnect or where superior quality indoor aerial to VCR/Satellite/TV is required. A low microphony, soft PVC jacket protects the cable from the environment.

Scart and S-Video

Where Scart and S-video connection is concerned Ecosse Reference Cable interconnects offer sharper, brighter pictures.

These cables are double-screened for rejection of RFI/EMI and the use of our superior, award-winning Monocrystal™, in the 'going' conductor, provides better colour density and a sharper, brighter picture.

Our Scart interconnects are unique in so far as they employ Monocrystal™ audio conductors in a pseudo-balanced configuration - for near audiophile quality sound. Both are available 'off-the-reel'.
